Night Terrors 2023

The inaugural year of Night Terrors saw almost 500 guests creep through the 127-year-old Rosemount mansion, experiencing 5 spine-chilling Victorian tales on dark Halloween nights.

 
 

Feel the chills running down your spine…

As classic Victorian horror stories echo through the halls of the Rosemount Museum. Presented by Artists Anonymous with support from the Rosemount Museum, the 3rd season of Night Terrors featured four hair-raising tales perfect for bookworms and fans of the macabre alike!

Night Terrors is environmental theater set within Pueblo's most historic mansion. Slip from room to room hearing each frightful tale portrayed by acclaimed local actors.

Presented by Artists Anonymous in partnership with the Rosemount Museum.

Emma Ackerman | Actor

Emma Ackerman is a recent Pennsylvania transplant and is delighted to be making her Colorado debut with Artists Anonymous. She spent the last fifteen years working at Touchstone Theatre, a small not-for-profit ensemble theatre focused in original work, community engagement, and education. Favorite performances there included Games We Play, Dictators 4 Dummies, Ulysses Dreams, and Christmas City Follies. Emma holds a B.A. from Gettysburg College and an M.A. from the University of Chichester. She loves tabletop gaming, befriending household pets, and improvising harmonies.

 
 

Celia Royal | Actor

Outside of acting, Celia enjoys music, dancing, songwriting, and hiking with her dog. She is excited to be apart of Night Terrors for the first time.

Sallie Walker | Actor

Sallie Walker is an actor, singer, writer and director. She has been involved in dance, theater and music for over 4 decades and will continue to learn and ply her craft(s) as long as she is able. Her strong belief is that the Arts are vital and are the foundation of civilization and inform all other pursuits.

 
 

Nicholas Ryan Izzo | Co-producer & Actor

Upon moving back to Tucson en route to L.A. he got his first lead role in a medium length film Date of the Dead which has now been turned into a feature length film.  He also met an amazing acting coach who advised him to go to Atlanta as opposed to LA and so with everything he could fit in his SUV he headed south.  Within months he got his first role in a paid independent feature, Patient.  He also acquired his first agent and booked his first Co-Star role on Drop Dead Diva making him eligible for SAG-AFTRA. Most recently he worked with the same team from Patient in the Atlanta 48-hour film festival on a film called Re Inc for which he was nominated for Best Actor out of over 80 films.  In his spare time, Izzo plays piano, soccer, guitar and likes to be outdoors in any capacity including rock climbing.

 
 
 

Thomas Jancis | Writer

Thomas Jancis is a writer and performer working mostly in interactive and immersive theatre. He has performed with ‘Parabolic Theatre’, written for ‘Immercity’ and was nominated for a Total Theatre award for Innovation with the relational theatre group ‘The Butlers’ in 2012. He is a cast member of the online RPG group ‘Roll Together’ and one of the hosts of their chat show ‘Talk Together’ and the puzzle dungeon 'Talking is a Free Action'. Most recently he collaborated with Trajectory Theatre on ‘Circus in A Bottle’, a live performance presented using augmented reality telling stories of the last 250 years of British Circus. This show was performed in early 2023 as part of the VAULT Festival in London.

 
 

Tierra Izzo | Director

Tierra is a deviser/performer, director, and entrepreneur. She trained as a performer at Emerson College, Boston, MA. Her dramaturgy credits include: The Golden Age (Emerson Stage), Much Ado About Nothing (Jobsite Theatre), Darling: a new musical (Rareworks), Rossum’s Universal Robots (Emerson College), and assisting on Cafe Variations (SITI Company). She graduated with an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice (with distinction) from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London (2014/15) where she devised and created Risen by Leveluvwu (BAC Hourglass Scratch), Here We Come Together, Here We Fall Apart (Subsublime, Sprint Festival, Camden People’s Theatre), Cumulus (Prague Quadrennial Festival of Space & Design), Performance A: CAGE (Imp Fest, Hornsey Town Hall), No.1 (Rag Factory), Performance B: Bespoken Moments (More Storm Festival, Middlesex University), and When You Were Born A Storm Rolled In (Saturday Live, Bank Street Arts). She continues to pursue the experimental performance practice live-construction.
